For example, LTD company client, you want to set up the director as a contact via the contacts tab. IRIS allows you to 'share' the pre-existing director as a contact (you can type in his/her client reference and search in the database). even if the director has an email address stored against his/her client card, this is not carried over into the contact section. note that postal addresses do get copied over, so it would make sense that email addresses are also brought in as I believe that email address and postal address are tied together in the same record.
