We sometimes need to do a detailed selection of clients to send a mailing to by exporting our client list to Excel for further review and manipulation.
We would like to be able to use the resulting client list from Excel to produce the letter run in Automail.
To achieve this we would like to be able to read in / import a CSV list of client ID's toAutomail, as another option to building up the search within Automail.

Hi Ben. The system doesn't seem to email to alert that a comment has been made so I have only just seen your question Example scenario - export client list of say 600 personal tax return clients to Excel. 6 managers review the listing for a particular mailshot using their client knowledge and information that is not within Iris. They delete those to not send the letter to, make notes to collaborate with each other to decide on others. In the end we have a list that we wish to then send letters to. Ideally we'd be able to import this listing into Automail to generate letters.

This functionality should be present within Multiple Client selection option (using data mining). What options do you gain from CSV that are not present in data mining?
