When Companies House send emails saying that acknowledgments for filing has not been requested they refer to envelope numbers. Can we see envelope numbers in taxfiler so that we know which accounts Companies House are referring to please?

Envelope numbers would only be required IF Companies House emailed me with an envelope number. This would then be needed to see which client it relates to.

We are currently looking at automating the polling for Companies House, so that as a user you do not need to go back to the client screen to update the response, once this is done you should no longer receive the emails advising you to poll for responses. Would you still require the envelope numbers, or would this no longer be a requirement?
