Please simply add to the Student Loan section the ability to override the automatic calculation.
The factors in the calculation may not be sufficient to state the liability accurately. For example, the taxpayer may have made additional payments direct to the SLC.
If the taxpayer were completing their return through HMRC online, they could override the calculated amount. Agents should be able to do the same, or calculations are submitted showing liabilities which are inaccurate, with reliance on white space comments to sort it out.
