Having a problem at minute with entering an increase in stock value, which is a credit balance, on the trial balance. It is not being accepted, as it says it requires a debit balance in an expense account, even though in the description box it says 'decrease/(increase) in stocks'. Being able to input opening stock and closing stock values separately would solve this problem.
