Add the word Amended as an option in the status for accounts, with the option for this to be displayed on the accounts, when a user needs to print and submit amended accounts to CH
Please allow a tick box to submit amended accounts to Companies House. Having to handwrite on the printed accounts and then use the post for signature and post again to submit is a real nuisance and time consuming. It can be done for corporation tax returns, so why not for Accounts.
Companies House should allow to have extra facilities to recommended software providers in order for their customers to amend the submitted accounts with acknowledgment of that company's directors.
Companies House will soon start to accept on-line submissions of amended accounts as part of a taxonomy update. This request will be addressed when we implement the taxonomy change.
