Ability to merge duplicate clients on OpenSpace

Some clients are added via IRIS Accountancy suite, and some are added manually.

Sadly, some are both - even worse, not picked up until both accounts have been in use for some time.

It would be nice if we could have the option to merge the two clients into one (with preference for the IRIS suite produced one).

Hi Richard, we have an all files view on the dashboard which may be able to help with this.

Would be better to discuss on the phone, ill drop you an email to arrange a time.

    Thank you for your response.

Granted, the Export does allow an easy view of those not generated via IRIS software.

I still dont see a way to be able to deal with duplicate client instances - short of deleting one of them (which means downloading everything first - which itself is not an easy task when there are multiple pgaes of documents)

Thanks Richard, this may be tricky what about doing this.

Login to OpenSpace, go to clients and export clients. On that list it will tell you the clients not imported by IRIS. Then you can link the ones which were created manually via http://help.iris.co.uk/IRIS/ODL/Open_Apps/IRIS_OpenSpace/Getting_Started.htm#Linking_OpenSpace_client_account_to_IRIS

Let me know if this helps
