An increasingly large proportion of client contact is now by e-mail. Automail is a great tool for producing Word documents, but has no obvious means to directly generate an email. This functionality would make generating mailshots and standard "letters" to clients much easier and more efficient. My workaround is to create a Word document from Automail and then use a Word VBA macro to copy it into a new Outlook e-mail, but automating this would really help.
Whilst we have the ability to produce client letters on mass using Automail to email to our clients via the communications tab, we have been unable to rename the PDF attachment clearly. The next issue that we have found is that the email signature is in a format that our company branding is removed from - Terri Casey, PA to Directors' @ Haines Watts

We also have to use third party software to send out our documents created in Automail by email. It would be great to have this as a built in feature with Iris to output to email as another option as well as to Word document and to Openspace.
